There is no facility in Clay County to provide temporary shelter (NOT HOUSING) to the working poor who have lost housing, and for those attempting to enter the workforce after prison.

Without temporary but stable housing, individuals find it difficult to complete job training or even present themselves for a job interview in clean clothes, showered and shaved.

Employers need entry-level workers.  This will benefit employers and those down on their luck but willing to work.

• Be as generous as you can to provide seed money for a capital campaign.
• Recruit others in phase two to donate, both individuals and organizations.
• Identify grants and matching fund opportunities.
